Guest: Patrick Felder, SVP, Employee Success, Salesforce

Patrick joined Salesforce in 2020 and serves as SVP Employee Success (HR) for the Engineering and Product development teams (~15K HC globally). Patrick also leads for Employee Success for Salesforce India. His current responsibilities include all Talent and People strategies, organizational effectiveness, executive leadership development, global talent management, succession planning and organizational design.

Before Salesforce Patrick was VP Human Resources at Dell Technologies. Patrick has over 20 years HR experience leading global Sales, Services, Support, and G&A organizations. Patrick has also been the HR lead for country, regional and global organizations.

Patrick has led multiple Employee Resource Groups, and currently serves as executive sponsor for BOLDforce ERG, and the Texas ERG Council for SalesForce. Patrick’s community involvement includes the Austin Blackfund, and past service on the Board of Directors for United Way Capital Area, and Mainspring Schools.

Guest: Tatsuo Kinoshita, VP, Chief Human Resources Officer, Mercari

Mercari is a Japanese eCommerce company, known for being the first unicorn in Japan. Mercari recently expanded into Japan/US and also established their tech center in India. Prior to joining Mercari four years ago, Tatsuo started his career with Proctor & Gamble and then moved to GE where he worked in Japan and regional APAC HR roles over a 20-year career.

He is currently based in Tokyo, Japan but he has worked in KL, Malaysia for 4 years as the senior HRBP of the APAC region and led talent and organization development for the region.

Trisha Stiles has more than 20 years of experience leading human resources for Fortune 500 companies, including Tableau, a Salesforce Business Unit, CBS Interactive, and GE/NBC Universal, and she is a graduate of the GE Human Resource Leadership Program known for HR excellence. At Brightcove, Stiles oversees all aspects of human resource strategy, encompassing talent and performance management, spearheading diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives, developing competitive people practices, and reinforcing the company’s strategic direction and business growth. Before Brightcove, Trisha served as vice president of employee success at Tableau, overseeing human resources strategy for Tableau’s global engineering, product and marketing teams. She managed equality, talent attraction, and organization strategy to bolster company growth and employee performance. Prior to Tableau, Stiles was the Head of HR for CBSI, where she helped build the culture across the CBS/CBSi brands and scaled the streaming business.

Stiles holds a MA from Teachers College of Columbia University in Organizational Psychology, Org. Development, Change Management, and Leadership, and a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.

Peter is the Asia CEO of SEEK, which operates leading employment platforms JobStreet and JobsDB. In his role, Peter is responsible for leading and driving the business’ growth and operations, while building on the company’s success and presence throughout the region. He brings over 20 years of experience in the Tech, Media and Telco sector, including a decade building and growing P&Ls across Asia.

His career includes various CEO and senior management positions encompassing both developed and developing markets and covering a spectrum of companies from start-ups to large enterprises. Peter’s notable achievements include scaling up digital businesses from scratch and helping spearhead one of the world’s most successful telco transformations over the past decade. He has a proven track record of leading digital business transformation programs and building strong company cultures in diverse markets across Asia Pacific and the United States.

He was previously the CEO of premium digital streaming service HOOQ, a joint venture between Singtel, Sony, and Warner Brothers. Peter also held senior roles at Singtel, including Chief Operating Officer of Globe Telecom in the Philippines.

Prior to that, he was CEO of Virgin Mobile Australia, and Director of Strategy and Corporate Development of Optus in Australia. He also has nearly a decade of strategy consulting experience, having served in a management capacity with Bain & Company.

Peter, who was born and educated in the United States, currently lives in Singapore with his wife and three daughters.”

Marc DeBevoise joined as our CEO & Board Director in March 2022 and is an accomplished leader with wide-ranging experience in the direct-to-consumer, media, streaming, and technology industries. Most recently prior to Brightcove, Marc led the global streaming, digital, and technology businesses and operations of ViacomCBS (now Paramount Global) as its Chief Digital Officer and CEO & President of CBS Interactive. During Marc’s leadership tenure, the company became a major player in direct-to-consumer streaming and a leading global Internet company, primarily driven by the founding and evolution of its streaming services, including Paramount+. Earlier in his career, Marc held executive positions at Starz and NBCUniversal and started his career in the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications investment banking groups at JPMorgan and Hambrecht & Quist.

Marc currently serves on the Board of The Door, a non-profit organization supporting at-risk youth in NYC and the Advisory Board of Antenna Group, a privately-owned international media and entertainment company in Europe.

Marc received his M.B.A. with distinction in Entertainment, Media & Technology, and Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from Tufts University.
