TouchCast typically charges a monthly authoring seat license (Adobe model) along with a monthly enterprise player license fee.
TouchCast is a novel and powerful video authoring platform bringing about a new medium, the video web. Our Mission is to bring the wonder of the web to video and usher in a new age of expression. Anyone can easily create and edit professional-quality videos that finally behave like the rest of the web. News organizations like the BBC and Wall St Journal are making TouchCasts daily for storytelling while Fortune 500 companies are using TouchCast for internal communications, training and marketing presentations.
Video and the web are coming together. Experience both like never before with TouchCast: a new medium that looks like video, but feels more like the web.
A TouchCast is a video that is fully browsable, responsive, and alive. Webpages, images, and an assembly of video Apps (vApps) can be tapped for a two-way video experience.
It's a TV studio in your hands. Create broadcast-quality videos with a built-in teleprompter, green screen, visual filters, sound effects, and titles. Watch TouchCasts from any of the apps or online at TouchCast.com.
Features and Benefits
TouchCasts are meant to be explored by viewers -- whether that means interacting with a web page, voting in a poll or downloading a file that displayed in the TouchCast video. With Brightcove integration, now Brightcove partners can upload TouchCasts from their iPhone, iPads, Chrome desktop browsers and soon Android devices and serve them anywhere the Brightcove player resides.
Authors can simply record their TouchCast on one of the TouchCast authoring tools and then upload their .mp4 video directly into the Brightcove CMS that they already use. This TouchCast video will be interactive as the .xml and video assets (interactive TouchCast vApps, or video apps) run from TouchCast servers. By simple relay of the video ID, the .mp4's will remain interactive as they supply HTML to the video frame when a viewer clicks or touches inside the Brightcove video player as the video plays.
