There are only about eight weeks left until more than 500 people will convene at the Intercontinental Boston for this year’s PLAY event. WillowTree, a long standing technology partner of Brightcove, will be there to exhibit, and I recently spoke to Michael Prichard, Founder and CTO, about his prior PLAY experiences and what attendees can expect when visiting WillowTree’s booth this year.
[Britta]: How does WillowTree help video publishers and marketers?

[B]: What can you tell us about sponsoring PLAY? Have you sponsored in the past?
[M]: We have not sponsored PLAY in the past, but we have attended on several occasions. The experience was extremely positive and led us to participate as sponsors in 2016. We hope to connect with Brightcove itself as well as other Brightcove clients to learn more about what is working and share our experience.

[B]: What can people expect when they visit your booth?
[M]: We are excited to show attendees demos of some of our recent client apps and to talk about engagement strategies. Visitors will also have a chance to tour our proprietary mobile OTT toolkit, Salix.
[B]: Any fun recommendations for what people could do while in Boston?
[M]: There's nothing like a good baseball game, and the Red Sox play at Fenway the day before PLAY. If you are not into baseball, there are tons of history museums and exhibits, great restaurants, and fun bars. There is something for everyone in Boston.
