Videolicious is one of Brightcove’s newest technology partners, and they’ll be at PLAY as a sponsor for the first time. Their platform empowers people to create great videos in seconds by editing video content using only a mobile device. They can then upload these videos to Brightcove Video Cloud. This smooth workflow puts premium-quality video creation into the hands of everyone, from novices who need a fast and easy way to create professional-looking video to professionals who want to shoot more and edit less.
This week, I spoke with John Giunta, Director of Demand Generation at Videolicious. John started his career in Artist Management and then spent a couple years as a Manager of Virtual Events at MarketingProfs.
[Britta] How does Videolicious help video publishers and marketers?
[John] Videolicious’ patented automatic video editing tools makes professional-quality video creation fast and easy, so every employee – regardless of background – can create compelling news and business video productions that make an impact. Videolicious is used by top media brands and leading tech companies to easily create videos to report time-sensitive news, amplify events, provide internal training to sales and service teams on product features, and create personalized sales pitch videos.
[B] Why did you decide to sponsor PLAY? ?
[J] This is our first time sponsoring PLAY. Being a Brightcove partner has been a great experience for us, many of our clients are using our Brightcove integration to seamlessly upload videos directly into Brightcove Video Cloud for easy publishing. We are really looking forward to meeting more Brightcove users to learn more about how they are using video and to discuss some of the challenges they are facing in creating compelling video content.
[B] What can people expect when they visit your booth?
[J] When you visit our booth, we will make a professional quality video with you in seconds and will be able to see how quick and easy it is to make (and publish) amazing videos using Videolicious.
[B] Any fun recommendations for what people could do while in Boston?
[J] The Institute of Contemporary Art is a short walk from the Intercontinental Hotel and is a great place to experience new art and get inspired.
Join John and other technology partners at Brightcove PLAY on May 16th, 2016 in Boston. The event is free for existing Brightcove customers. If you would like to participate, request an invite by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
