Exciting news for us in Asia. We just helped Brand New Media - producers and distributors of multi-platform content solutions - launch healthMEtv in Singapore!
healthyMEtv is an initiative of Brand New Media and the Health Promotion Board of Singapore. Endorsed by Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, at the annual National Healthy Lifestyle Campaign, healthyMEtv is a new, transmedia TV channel that aims to help Singaporeans live a healthier and happier lifestyle.
The channel will publish some 1,500 programs over the year to help people stop smoking, improve their diet, lose weight, get into shape, learn how to relax, prevent the onset of lifestyle diseases, and more. Using Brightcove’s Video Cloud, healthyMEtv content is seamlessly available across a wide variety of devices, at anyplace, anytime, including mobile, tablets, computers, and connected TVs.
We are glad to be of help in developing not only Singapore’s first ever transmedia health platform, but also the first digital health channel in the region. It feels great to take part in enabling people to consume health education on the go, and both of us look forward to continuing an exciting partnership in the launch of future channels.
healthyMEtv has already kicked off with some incredible results. Within the first few weeks, the site attracted over 28,000 unique visits, well over 120,000 views, and an average visit duration of 3mins 35secs.
Just this past November 28 at the annual Marketing Excellence Awards 2012 in Singapore, the Health Promotion Board won the prestigious Marketer of the Year award. Further to that, the Health Promotion Board swapped up additional awards in categories including Excellence in Advertising, Excellence in Consumer Insights/Market Research, Excellence in Public Relations (Corporate Communications), and Excellence in Sponsorship Activation.
