As summer comes to a close, we are prepping for what should prove to be a rewarding (and busy!) Fall on the conference and tradeshow circuit. The Brightcove team will be speaking at and participating in many noteworthy industry events over the next few months.
First up is the Ad:tech Tokyo event beginning on September 2nd at the Prince Park Tower in Tokyo. Brightcove KK's Masaki "Gus" Suga will be participating on the "Video Revolution Content Convergence and Advertising Models" on September 2nd. The following week, our VP of business development in EMEA, Rags Gupta, will be speaking at the Medienwoche event in Berlin on September 8th.
Next up you can catch us in action at Ad:tech London on September 23rd, where our senior director of strategic accounts in EMEA, Luke Gaydon, will join the Telegraph's James Flint for a case study presentation about their successful use of the Brightcove platform to drive traffic, video views and advertising click through rates.
Brightcove will also have a major presence at dmexco (digital marketing exposition and conference) in Cologne, Germany from September 23rd thru 24th. Chairman and chief executive officer, Jeremy Allaire, will be speaking on the "Digital Video Advertising Shifts Budgets" panel on September 23rd.
In October, Rags Gupta will be in action again speaking at Streaming Media Europe in London on October 15th. Rags will be participating in the "Online Video Publishing Platforms" panel. Later that month, our CTO, Bob Mason, will participate in Beet.TV's online video executive roundtable on October 20th in New York that will explore the emerging opportunities for marketers and publishers. Jeremy Allaire will also present at Medientage Munchen 2009 on October 30th in Munich, Germany. Jeremy will deliver a standalone presentation as part of the "TV Goes Online: Strategies of Traditional TV Channels on the Internet" panel.
Finally, on November 18th Jeremy will deliver the keynote presentation at the first ever Online Video Platform Summit at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
