Brightcove Continues Momentum in Japan with Major New Customer Win

Tokyogas_logo Brightcove today announced that Tokyo Gas, one of Japan's largest utility companies, has chosen the Brightcove platform for its online video initiatives. The utility giant has five business divisions and 60 subsidiaries that span natural gas and electricity, gas appliances, and real estate. Tokyo Gas will use Brightcove for wide-ranging online video applications including corporate communications and marketing. 


Today's announcement comes on the heels of a raft of major new customer wins for Brightcove in Japan including Tokyo Broadcasting System, Sony Music Network, Asahi Breweries, Shueisha Publishing, and Orange Page. With Tokyo Gas, Brightcove continues its expansion in Japan across diverse industry segments and vertical markets. We are thrilled to see such widespread adoption of the Brightcove platform in Japan and look forward to continued growth in the region.
