Yesterday, Betawave (formerly known as GoFish) announced a new video advertising network, Betawave TV. The new video offering will focus on programming for kids age 6-17 and moms. Content will be provided by Cookie Jar Entertainment, MGM, Young Hollywood, as well as Betawave's own original productions. Betawave's video will be syndicated across a network of websites including Hallpass and GameGecko. The combined online video viewership of the network will be six million monthly uniques at launch.

Betawave programmers used Brightcove 3 APIs to create highly-customized video players that they have syndicated across their network of family-oriented websites providing new targeted and immersive advertising opportunities for brands trying to reach and engage kids and their parents.
