The Randicoot integration with Brightcove allows any Brightcove customer to quickly add billing to any piece or bundle of content. The payment module discreetly sits as a layer over the video player activated on a time delay set in seconds. Payments can be made with a simple Premium SMS which, when sent, automatically plays the video for the customer and sends a receipt to their phone. Credit cards and other payment methods are also supported.

We have created a package specifically for Brightcove customers that enables the quick and easy selection of pricing and bundling parameters for your content. Simply select one options from each of the following parameters for each clip or bundle. You can have as many pricing 'plans' as you wish based on these parameters.

Set pricing: £1, £2 or £3
Billing methods: SMS, Credit card or both.
Delay time: zero, 60 or 300 seconds
Content bundles: view 1, 2 or 5 pieces of content from a defined bundle
Access period: 6, 24 or 48 hours access.

Pricing Model

20% of Net revenue.

Net Revenue is receivables after cost of transaction that fall outside Brightcove or Randicoot’s control.
E.g. mobile operators retained SMS fees or credit card clearing fees.  All rises or deductions in Net receivables are passed on immediately, e.g. in the event that SMS outpay increases the difference is paid out under Net Revenue so you benefit when the mobile operators change payout policy
