Your web browser may be displaying cached information. To clear your browser cache, perform the following steps:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Using Internet Explorer:
1. Go to a different website such as google.com.
2. Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> General
3. Click the Delete Files button, select the "Delete all Offline files" option and then click OK
4. Once the process completes, click OK to close the Options dialog
5. Close all open Internet Explorer browser windows.
Firefox
1. Go to a different website such as google.com.
2. Choose Options from the Tools menu
3. Click the Privacy icon, select the Cache tab, and click Clear Cache Now.
4. Click on the History tab, and select Clear Browsing History Now.
5. Click OK to close the Options dialog
6. Close all open Firefox windows.
Safari
1. Go to a different website such as google.com
2. Choose Empty Cache from the Safari menu
- Why do video clips sometimes stutter or pause during playback?
Video may stutter or pause during playback if you computer does not meet the specs detailed below, or if your Internet connection is not fast enough. Even on broadband connections, Internet congestion or traffic can result in choppy playback or repeated buffering. You can check your actual internet bandwidth here.

- Why isn't the Brightcove player displaying on a web page?
Some corporate networks, firewalls, and ad-blocking software may prevent the player from displaying. Please check with your Network Administrator to ensure that Flash video is permitted on your network. Also, disable any ad-blocking software that might prevent Flash media from loading. - Why is the video blocky or pixelated?
Several factors affect video quality including the data rate, the quality of the original footage, and the version of Flash video used to encode. Please contact the publisher directly with issues related to video quality. - The player is displaying a warning that says I need to upgrade the Flash player. How do I upgrade?
You can obtain the latest version of the Flash Player from Adobe. - How do I share videos?
You can share any video that is on Brightcove.tv. The sharing features are located on the video playback page to the right of the video window. To send an email that contains a link to the video, fill out the 'Email this Video' form. To post the video on your own website or blog, copy the 'embed code' located to the right of the video window. To copy the link directly (great for IM), click on the 'get link' icon located on the player just below the video window. You can also add any video on Brightcove.tv to the Favorites section of your channel. Simply click the plus icon below the video window to add the video to your favorites. - How do I embed video on my website or blog?
You can easily embed videos from Brightcove.tv in your website or blog. Simply find the video you want to embed. Click 'get code' located to the right of the player on the video playback page. Copy and paste to your website or blog and watch away. - How do I update my profile?
Brightcove makes it a snap to edit anything on your channel page by using in-page editing. Go to your channel page and simply click on the content you want to update and an edit box will appear. Make your changes and when done, click Save. - How do I remove videos I uploaded?
Go to the Uploaded Videos section of your channel, find the video you want to remove, and click the trashcan icon. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Click 'Delete' and the video will be removed. Your video will be deleted from your account, as well as from any Brightcove personal channels that featured it in their Favorites. - How do I add videos created by others to my Favorites?
When you find a video on Brightcove that you want to save, click the plus button that appears below each video. The video will be added to your channel under Favorite videos. - How do I remove videos displayed in my Favorites?
Go to the Favorites section of your channel, find the video you want to remove, and click the trashcan icon. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Click 'Delete' and the video will be removed. And don't worry - adding the video back is as simple as finding the video and clicking again on the plus button. No regrets. - Can I change my Channel Name?
No. You can edit your profile description, location, and website URL but not your channel name. Your channel name will be visible to the public, so make sure it is something you are comfortable having displayed. - What is Brightcove Takeout?
Brightcove Takeout provides a constant feed of any groupings of videos on Brightcove.tv. Add the feed to your favorite RSS reader or use the Takeout box option to add fresh video to your site. You can even use the feed to build your own badges, widgets, or web pages with video from Brightcove. Choose from categories like music or celebs, or subscribe to an entire channel. Want to pick & choose? Here's a tip - register a new channel, mark videos as favorites, then grab a feed or takeout box of your favorites. - Who can use Brightcove Takeout?
Anyone can subscribe to a category or channel feed without being a registered a member, but Brightcove.tv members have access to additional Takeout options such as favorite videos - Where do I find Takeout?
Just look for the orange Takeout box anywhere on Brightcove.tv, or choose from predefined categories. - What videos can I Takeout?
You can Takeout any individual video or grouping of videos that play on Brightcove.tv including- Your favorite videos

- The Newest videos on Brightcove.tv, and

- What is a Takeout box?
A Brightcove Takeout box is a Flash widget that displays videos from Brightcove.tv. When someone clicks on one of the thumbnails in the Takeout box they can watch the video on Brightcove.tv. You can use these to place your favorite video content from Brightcove.tv directly on your website or blog. - Are the Brightcove Takeout boxes customizable?
Yes, you can customize the number of videos, size and color of your Takeout box. Just click the `Customize your own takeout box' link on the Takeout page. From there you can select the number of videos to show vertically and horizontally, and choose the colors for your box. We even tell you the size in real-time so you can create a box that fits within your page dimensions. Make sure to use the height/width customization on the Takeout page, (adjusting height and width in the embed code drastically without changing the number of rows and columns will cause layout issues). - What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and makes it possible to keep a up-to-date summary of content, also known as an RSS feed, available on the internet. - How do I add the feed to my RSS Reader?
If the RSS reader you are using is listed under "Web based news readers" you can add the feed by simply click on its icon. You will be forwarded to your new reader and after signing in to it, the feed will be added to your RSS reader. You can add the feed to other RSS readers by copying the URL from the text box labeled "Here is your feed:" and using your RSS reader's "Add Feed" function. - How often do Brightcove.tv RSS feeds and Takeout boxes update?
Any changes (such as new videos) are usually reflected within the hour. - Where can I use Brightcove Takeout?
You can use Brightcove Takeout almost anywhere HTML embed tags are allowed. This includes personal websites and social websites. - How do I report abuse?
