- Video2Video – Publishers place Taboola within the Brightcove player and/or right next to it as an HTML widget. Taboola’s recommendations on a video page will increase engagement and viewership for viewers already watching a video.
- Text2Video – Brightcove publishers that use Taboola can also place Taboola on their flat content, be it an article page, category page or even their homepage. Taboola’s personalized video recommendations will convert traffic from anywhere on the site into video views, creating an “anchor” video for each user. Then, with Taboola integrated into the Brightcove player, Taboola will make sure the user stays longer and watch even more videos. Geared towards publishers that have a higher ratio of article pages to video views, Taboola’s Text2Video can yield a significant increase in video views from non-video pages.
- Distribution Platform & Video Affiliate Management – Brightcove publishers that use Taboola can offer their affiliate partners / blogs a Taboola Text2Video widget that will analyze the affiliate’s text page, provide personalized recommendations and redirect users to the publisher’s video content, driving users back to the publisher's site. Taboola provides a complete affiliate management system for managing, tracking and paying affiliates who direct traffic towards the publisher’s video assets.
All Taboola products are powered by Taboola EngageRank™ – a propietary technology that studies users' engagment with video content, and based on that, converts users to watch videos better than anything else. Publishers who use Taboola products can see an increase in CTR that ranges from 100%-500% over their older recommendation system.
All Taboola products are ad-supported and have no setup or ongoing monthly fees. By blending Taboola Related Ads into the recommendation list, publishers benefit from the Taboola best-in-class video discovery for free and gain an incremental revenue stream from a share of the Related Ad revenues. Pricing Model
Two Pricing Models:
Ad-Supported (blending Taboola Related Ads):
In this pricing model the publisher enjoys the Taboola service for free (no setup or monthly service fees) and lets Taboola blend highly-targeted, related ads within the video recommendation widget. No need for creating new real-estate and share in the revenue from that new revenue stream.
Of course – the publisher keeps 100% of the revenue on all ads sold against the lift in video views generated by Taboola.
Share Revenue from Lift (no Taboola Related Ads):
No setup fee, no monthly fee and Taboola does not insert targeted ads as part of the recommenadation list.
Taboola continuously runs an A/B test by presenting competing discovery algorithms to a small control group of 1% of your users and measuring the lift our product produces over that control group. Publisher pays a share from new revenue earned on video views only attributable directly to Taboola, based upon this measurement.
