Overview
CAVI integrates eCommerce-Shops into music videos, online TV formats, movie trailers and other online video formats to enable end-consumers to buy in “real-time” items in the video, without leaving the platform. CAVI opens a new revenue stream for content-owner and platforms, through cpX-based (cost-per-order, cost-per-lead) provision models, without blocking additional classic online advertising formats.
Once integrated into the platform (here the Brightcove Player) the videos can be transported everywhere on the web, without losing the shopping technology (makes viral spread possible). Flexible APIs enable partner-stores to integrate product assortments on a dynamic basis and give them the possibility to choose between transferring a basket (cost-per-lead) or receiving a billed order (cost-per-order). All of the seen information is directly loaded into the inVideo-Shops from the partner stores database automatically, so if the video is placed on 3rd party platforms, the shops can still control the assortment. The API is set-up to enable the partners to control the inVideo-shop which is very simple and can be achieved on a low level technology basis.
Our aim is to simplify the way you shop on the web. Using the CAVI inVideo-Shopping technology, the end-costumer can buy a product within 5 steps directly in the video. You see, click, inform yourself and finalize the order by paying through credit-card, electronic cash, paypal or whatever payment-system you prefer.
